The new Fame Santos Deluxe combines craftsmanship, aesthetics and an unmistakable sound in an extraordinary Grand Auditorium model, which offers all the facets of a high-end Western guitar in addition to solid woods and high-quality hardware. Equipped with a Fishman Sonitone pickup system, the instrument is ideally suited for both acoustic and electric use and produces a powerful and defined sound that unfolds quickly and completely thanks to a thin finish. A flat mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, in combination with a cutaway, allows perfect access to all frets and ensures a pleasant and obliging playability, which gains additional comfort through an armrest. The richly decorated headstock is also equipped with gold tuners that allow precise tuning of the strings and give the instrument a noble touch.

Due to its light-coloured spruce top made of AAA-grade, the acoustic guitar produces a clear sound that is very strong in the mid and treble frequencies and has a long-lasting finish in the overtones. A multi-layered binding of padauk and maple borders the finely grained top wood and forms a perfect transition to the dark body of Santos rosewood, which enriches the sound with powerful bass frequencies. A noble high-gloss finish also allows a deep insight into the coarse grain of the body wood and emphasises the contrasting colour play of the striking inclusions and lines.

Due to its medium-sized Grand Auditorium shape, the Fame Santos Deluxe is suitable for both powerful strumming and delicate picking and offers the player extremely comfortable handling with the help of an elaborately crafted armrest. The golden Fame 334MDM tuners also highlight the quality of the guitar and allow for easy and clean tuning due to their 1:18 ratio. A finely notched bone nut with a width of 43 mm in combination with a corresponding bridge inlay ensures clean intonation over the entire scale length of 650 mm
The love is in the detail
One of the biggest highlights of the Fame Santos Deluxe is the wooden Island Vine inlay, which stretches across the entire fingerboard and with its fine vines forms a tasteful contrast to the dark ebony. The headstock is decorated with a fine floral motif that harmonises perfectly with the gold tuners and the manufacturer’s logo, thus emphasising the instrument’s value in a discreet way. The entire work is rounded off by an eye-catching abalone soundhole rosette and ebony bridge pins with abalone dots.
