Thanks to their high-quality features and workmanship, the Fame acoustic guitars offer a comprehensive sound experience at an affordable price. The Fame A-11 II, for example, comes with a solid top, a generous cutaway and a practical pickup system. Due to its compact construction, the guitar produces a bright sound with warm midrange as well as defined treble frequencies, so that both pickings and strummings come through perfectly. The flat, shortened neck allows the player optimal access to all 20 frets. In addition, the instrument is equipped with open tuners, which allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings and give the overall appearance a timeless touch. Visually, the guitar is rounded off by a filigree wood binding, a single ring soundhole rosette and a mother-of-pearl mountain inlay. To emphasise the grain of the tonewoods used, the surface is sealed with a wafer-thin matt lacquer.

FAME A-11 II HIGHLIGHTS
Structure and timbers
The top is made of solid cedar wood so that every tone is clear and distinct. The coarsely textured tonewood enriches the sound with strongly pronounced midrange and fine treble frequencies. Back and sides are made of thin-laminated mahogany, which gives the basses a warm note. While the mahogany neck with its ‘C’ profile flatters the player’s hand, the HPL fingerboard offers enough space to easily master complex chords or extensive tone sequences. The individual components of the body are bordered by fine maple bindings.
Electronics
To make the Fame A-11 II suitable for stage use, a Fishman Sonitone pick-up system is built into the guitar. The acoustic sound is directly transmitted to the amplifier via a piezo element under the bridge inlay, so that the entire sound potential of the instrument can be reproduced unaltered. A control in the sound hole allows both the timbre and the volume to be adjusted individually. The active system is powered by a 9V block battery, which is stored in a separate battery compartment in the lower frame.
Hardware and design
Thanks to a compensated bridge inlay and a 43 mm wide bone nut, the acoustic guitar intonates cleanly and precisely over the entire scale length of 596 mm. In addition, the chrome-plated open-gear tuners guarantee easy tuning of the 6 steel strings, which are fastened with plastic pins in the HPL bridge. The generous inlays on the headstock and fingerboard give the instrument a unique recognition value and emphasise the quality of the materials used. The appearance is completed by the matt varnish.
