FAME FORUM IV MODERN HIGHLIGHTS
Seymour Duncan – Sounds between Blues and Rock
Thanks to the versatile pickup equipment, the Fame Forum IV Modern is particularly flexible in sound. With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz at the neck, a proven pair of humbuckers is used that delivers the right sound for every genre between blues, pop, rock and even metal. Here, the bridge pickup convinces with a high output and the enormous assertiveness of its sharply focused mids, while the neck pickup brings every note to life with endless sustain and a warm vintage voice. Thanks to the coil split circuit, authentic single coil sounds with the typical bell-like clarity of tone are also available.
Hardware from Schaller, Gotoh and GraphTech
Last but not least, the Fame Forum IV Modern convinces with a high quality hardware equipment, which completes applications on stage and in the studio with unlimited reliability. From the tailpiece, the strings are fed through the GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose String Saver graphite tailpieces house the Ghost Piezo elements. The Black TUSQ nut is also from GraphTech, behind which the strings are held by precise locking tuners on the headstock. To ensure that the Fame Forum IV Modern hangs securely on the strap even during the wildest action on stage, it is also equipped with the popular Security Locks.
High playing comfort and careful wood selection
The Fame Forum IV Modern is made by experienced guitar builders in Europe and convinces accordingly with a careful wood selection and a flawless finish. The body is made of Khaya mahogany with a top of curly maple, whose unique grain is emphasised by the finish. The noble highlight is without a doubt the sharply contoured arching of the top with a recess in the cutaway, which ensures unhindered playability in all registers. The Sapelli mahogany neck fits comfortably in the hand thanks to the perfectly proportioned “D” profile, so that every note almost plays itself on the ebony fingerboard.
